We don't have internet back home in Urdaneta so I'm not going to vote but I have Globelines 2 mbps wired connection here at my Cavite apartment. No problems so far. Actual bit rate is around 1.7 mbps. The only service interruption I've experienced was when they did some maintenance work during which I got intermittent connection but no big deal.

that is quite impressive, tracymack.
On my end I am going to say Smart Bro for now since It is the one we are subscribed to. Being wireless, it is quite convenient for us since we have moved to three houses around urdaneta since the two year lock-in period. We dont need any relocation fees and permit. we just dismantle the receiver and install it in the new house.
As for quality, it is pretty decent at 385kbps although sometimes it seems faster than that. It can even support a good quality of VOIP phone conversation with the US and Canada. not too shabby and not too fast either.

I Do not agree with you guys,as per research from our test sites,Digitel Wired DSL Broadband Internet,is the best provider, rain or shine, all weather, except during disaster like typhoon "COSME" Because even buildings & establishment fall from that, aside from that we provide the cheapest yet fastest & realtime speed, check on the declared speeds of other providers, they gave you "UP TO 1MBPS" OR "UP TO 2 MBPS" they cant give you excact & precise realtime speed....try to double check or ask them, believe me,im the man whom your looking for.....WE OFFER 384 KBPS(REALTIME SPEED),UNLIMITED INTERNET ACCESS W/LANDLINE UNLIMITED LOCAL CALLS AND FREE NDD (DIGITEL TO DIGITEL) @ ONLY P777/MONTH INCLUSIVE OF VAT,NO HIDDEN CHARGES......

Hi Franco.., welcome to UCO.
Interesting online alias you have there ;D
Anyways, my lock in period with Smart Bro will be ending this August-September 2008 and i am open to exploring other options.
a suggestion is to bundle a sun cellular plan with it.

Sir,you dont have to wait, DIGITEL has a "LIPAT BAHAY" promo, just attach your bill statement & xerox copy of any govt. issued I.D. (back to back) to the application, & you just need to pay 1 monthly reccuring charges P999 plus P500 for the installation fee, with total of P 1499 , you will be billed after two (2) months, thats on the third month, meaning your free of charge for two (2) months....
